Crimson Desert, the hyper-ambitious game from Pearl Abyss, releases its epic launch trailer

A title that still seems just as gigantic

For more than five years and its transition from MMO to single-player game, Crimson Desert had opportunities to show himself. So much so that we no longer even know what the action adventure game particularly focuses on. An anthology of gameplay systems, mounts and even technologies once again displayed in a video of less than two minutes. Almost a blink of an eye on the scale of the beast.

Death traps, secrets, puzzles, combat, exploration, grappling hook, dragon ride, air race through rings, supernatural powers, Crimson Desert plays on so many tables that one wonders how it will all turn out to be digestible. On the other hand, it will be a historic event if the resulting experience is a success.

A concern still mixed with the technical performance of the game on console which, even if they were the subject of a theoretical official communication, remain a concrete unknown in the final equation of a project whose disproportionate ambition could well lead it to burn its wings in mid-flight.

It is therefore both a mixture of excitement and reserve which animates a good part of the public while awaiting the release of Crimson Desert March 19, 2026 on PC (via Steam), PS5 and Xbox Series. To find out more about the game, we have prepared an FAQ for you to consult now.
