On the X account of the anime adaptation of “Haibara’s Teenage New Game+” (Japanese: “Haibara-kun no Tsuyokute Seishun New Game”) it was announced today that the series will start on April 2, 2026. You can find a new trailer below.
Opening presented
»Haibara’s Teenage New Game+« is being created under the direction of Misuzu Hoshino (“Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!”) at Studio Comet. Keiichirou Oochi is writing the script, while Hiromi Ono (“Rinkai!”) is creating the character design.
The opening song entitled “Fly Again!!”, which can be heard in the trailer, is contributed by Ami Maeshima (ending song of “My Awkward Senpai”) and the ending song “Dramatic Tohiko” is by Aimi (opening song of “Helck”).
The underlying light novel series written by Kazuki Amamiya has been published in Japan since December 2021 with illustrations by Gin. A manga adaptation by Misaomaru debuted in “Comic Fire” magazine in June 2023.
