The video on demand service Prime Video expands its anime program in July 2026 by at least four new titles. We summarize below.
Four new anime additions
Upcoming anime additions to Prime Video include the first season of »Jujutsu Kaisen« and the prequel film »Jujutsu Kaisen 0«both from July 1, 2026 are available in German and Japanese.
Additionally start with »The Ghost in the Shell« and the second season of “From country bumpkin to sword saint” two new simulcasts, which are supplemented weekly with new episodes with German and Japanese dubbing.

July 1st: “Jujutsu Kaisen” – Season 1
The first season of »Jujutsu Kaisen« appears on July 1, 2026 with German and Japanese language versions Prime Video.

A boy swallows a cursed talisman – a demon’s finger – and becomes cursed himself. He enters a shaman’s school to locate the demon’s other body parts and thus exorcise himself.
July 1st: “Jujutsu Kaisen 0”
The anime film »Jujutsu Kaisen 0« will also be on July 1, 2026 in German and Japanese into the program Prime Video recorded.
Action:
As a child, Yuta watched his friend Rika die in an accident. Since then, she has accompanied him as a powerful vengeful spirit and protects him from every danger. In order not to hurt anyone, Yuta lives in seclusion.

The second season of “From country bumpkin to sword saint” runs from that July 8, 2026 with German and Japanese dubbing Prime Video in simulcast.
Action:
Beryl lives in seclusion in his remote dojo until his former student Allucia, now commander of the knightly order, brings him to the capital.
There he meets former students, gains new allies, faces powerful opponents and becomes unexpectedly famous as a legendary sword master from the province.
