Bryan Q. Miller (“The Flash,” “Smallville” and “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe”) serves as showrunner and co-writer. He is supported by Sandrine Nguyen and the team from OuiDo Productions.
A release date, information about the cast or further details about the production have not yet been announced.
»Lumine« has been appearing on the WEBTOON platform since May 2017 and has already achieved over 550 million views worldwide. This makes the fantasy series one of WEBTOON’s most successful English-language original series.
According to WEBTOON Productions and OuiDo Productions, the emotional story, the likeable characters and the themes of friendship and belonging were crucial for the adaptation.
With this project, WEBTOON Productions continues its increased activities in the animation sector. An adaptation of “Lore Olympus” was announced just a few weeks ago. There are also other titles in development such as “ELECEED”, “GOSU” and “Hero Killer”.
