“The Salty Koharu Has a Soft Spot for Me” is directed by Fumihiro Yoshimura (“Endo and Kobayashi Live”) at the Tezuka Productions studio. Takashi Aoshima (“Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!”) is writing the script, while Daisuke Okushima is doing the character design.

The main roles of the Japanese voice cast include Miku Itou (Fatla in “I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years”) as Koharu Satou and Hiiro Ishibashi (Ayato Yorita in “The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity”) as Souta Oshio.

The underlying light novel series was written by Kazami Sawatari and has been published in Japan since December 2019 with illustrations by Achiki. A manga adaptation by Kaya Tetsuyama debuted in May 2020.
