The anime adaptation of “Witch Hat Atelier” will begin broadcasting on April 6, 2026 with the first episode on Japanese television. Crunchyroll will release two episodes on the same day and will then make each additional episode available a week before TV broadcast.
The studio BUG FILMS is responsible for the production of the new fantasy series, with Ayumu Watanabe (“Summer Time Rendering”) directing and Jun Shinohara (“My One-Hit Kill Sister”) acting as assistant director.
The original manga series of the same name by Kamome Shirahama has been published in “Morning Two” magazine in Japan since July 2016. The work is available from Egmont-Verlag under the title “Atelier of Witch Hat: The Secret of the Witches”.
