The famous number “8” now in the crosshairs
Not necessarily comfortable for us French speakers due to the absence of a translation, this is thanks to the last episode of the license, Octopath Traveler 0which Square Enix’s license was able to push as far as the symbolic mark of 7 million units distributed throughout the world.
The prequel to the saga, freed from its mobile gacha past, established itself as a very good opus due to brilliant gameplay, a sublime soundtrack and such a charming look. Assets already present within Octopath Traveler And Octopath Traveler IIwhich won over the public through their release carried out in dribs and drabs on the various market media.
After the 6 million reached last December, it is always pleasing to see such a high-quality license doing well, which promises, we hope, a bright and lasting future for Square Enix’s JRPG. A wish expressed by the superb illustration by the artist Maika Minami, immortalizing these 7 million and highlighting the lucky symbolism of the number “7”, drawn in a rainbow.
