The window of Xbox Game Pass welcomes a new cozy plan. Microsoft highlights Little Rocket Labsigned automation RPG Teenage Astronauts and edited by No More Robotsplayable at no additional cost by subscribers on console, PC and Cloud. A mix of quiet farming and factory management that is already getting players talking.
Released in October 2025, Little Rocket Lab has around 90% positive reviews on Steam and a 79/100 on the press side Metacritic. With its arrival in a prominent place in the carousel of Xbox Game Pass in the spring of 2026, the question arises: should we launch it while it is included?
Little Rocket Lab on Xbox Game Pass: the free cozy RPG not to be missed?
Since its launch, the game has been available upon release in the Xbox Game Pass on Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC, including via Xbox Game Pass Premium, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate And PC Game Pass. If you are already a subscriber, no additional expense: just download it or stream it.
You play Morgan, a young engineer who returns to St. Ambroise to finish the rocket dreamed of by her mother and help the residents. “Transform your childhood home by building shiny factories and forging lifelong friendships, then aim for the stars,” summarizes the official game sheet, which promises a warm tone despite the scientific theme.
A cozy but demanding RPG: is Little Rocket Lab for you?
Xbox described Little Rocket Lab as a “cozy RPG centered around machine building”. In practice, you harvest resources, install conveyors, manage electricity and water to automate your workshops, while chatting with neighbors. To popularize, imagine a sort of Stardew Valley which gradually turns into a puzzle like Factorio Or SimCity.
On Steamenthusiastic reviews speak of a “fantastic game” and a “Factorio but with cute animals”, as users Shroom67 and ParaDox write in particular, cited by Gamingbible. Others, like BigStump or Faerador, point out, however, that the end of the game is “too frustrating” and that the game is “too grindy” which breaks the cozy magic a little.
Limited offer on Xbox Game Pass: how much does Little Rocket Lab cost outside of subscription?
Like all third-party games Xbox Game Pass, Little Rocket Lab will not remain in the catalog forever, even if no departure date has been announced. Present since 2025 in the subscription, it has already pushed some players to buy it to keep it once it leaves the service, a sign that the current offer is really interesting.
Outside of Game Pass, the title is sold for around $19.99, or around €19 on Xbox. It is also available on PC, and will arrive on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on May 8, 2026, with no PlayStation version confirmed. The community mentions a good thirty hours to see the credits, which makes it an ideal candidate to launch now as long as it is free for subscribers.
