Xbox Game Pass: 3 games offered this weekend with bonus, here’s how to get them

If you have an Xbox console and an active subscription, this weekend could well be an opportunity to make some great discoveries without spending a cent. Microsoft is once again offering its Free Play Days formula, an operation which allows players to access several complete games for a few days, without purchasing them.

This week’s selection mixes quirky RPG, realistic simulation and spiritual adventure. These titles are available for immediate download and will remain playable until Monday December 15 at 8:59 a.m.. For those who would like to extend the experience, exclusive discounts are also applied on the Microsoft Store.

Who is entitled to what? Details according to Xbox Game Pass subscriptions

The games offered as part of Free Play Days are not accessible to everyone in the same way. The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos – Chicken Edition is only available to subscribers Game Pass Ultimate, Premium Or Essential. Basic tier members or non-subscription users cannot access it for free.

Conversely, The Hunter: Call of the Wild And Spirittea are open to all Xbox members, as long as their account is active. Simply go to the dedicated Free Play Days page from your console or the Xbox mobile application to start the download.

Once the games are installed, progress is preservedeven if you decide to buy them later. This system makes the free trial particularly attractive for testing titles that are often unknown or off the radar.

Focus on the three games to try this weekend

The first title on display, The Dungeon of Naheulbeukimmerses you in a wacky and parodic universe where you play a group of mismatched adventurers, forced to cooperate. The game relies on a system of turn-based tactical combatenriched with absurd dialogue and classic RPG mechanics. It’s a clear nod to the world of the original audio series, on the border between pastiche and homage.

On the side of The Hunter: Call of the Wildwe radically change the atmosphere. This is a open world hunting simulationknown for its peaceful atmosphere, realistic graphics and faithfulness to animal behavior. The game is regularly updated, especially with the help of the community.

Finally, Spirittea offers a light adventure, between management and exploration. The player discovers a small town populated byinvisible spirits that only he can perceive. Through secondary quests and touching interactions, the aim is to recreate the link between the spiritual world and the inhabitants, in an atmosphere reminiscent of the works of Miyazaki.

Xbox Game Pass: the trick that drops the price to €7.5 per month

If temporary access to these games makes you want to move up a gear, a good plan is currently circulating. The Xboxygen site relays a promotion valid on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions: thanks to promo code “XboxyCore”it is possible to subscribe for €100 per year instead of €324or approximately €7.5 per month.

A massive reduction which advantageously complements the Free Play Days, especially if we add the other advantages of the subscription: cloud gaming, access to new Xbox Studios products as soon as they are released, and the EA Play catalog.
