Sucker Punch Productions is making a great end-of-year gift to PS5 players with a series of free avatars from Ghost of Yotei. Better yet, a multiplayer expansion titled Ghost of Yotei Legends is planned for 2026. We take stock of this pleasant PlayStation news.
A free surprise from Sucker Punch
Released last October, Ghost of Yotei quickly established itself as one of the PS5’s biggest hits, with millions of copies sold. To thank the players at the end of the year, Sucker Punch Productions offers a series of exclusive avatars for a limited time. These avatars represent several iconic characters from the game, such as Jubei, Oyuki, Master Enomotobut also creatures like the Golden Bird Or the Wolf.
How to recover exclusive avatars?
To get these avatars for free, simply enter a code according to your region on the PlayStation Store:

Ghost of Yotei Legends: a multiplayer expansion approaching
PlayStation has confirmed the development of a free multiplayer expansion for Ghost of Yoteiexpected current 2026. Baptized Ghost of Yotei Legendsit will offer two modes:
- Of the two-player story missions
- Of the four player survival battles
A bright future for the Ghost series?
With this festive gesture and the announcement of an ambitious multiplayer mode, Sucker Punch confirms that it wants to register Ghost of Yotei as a new flagship license for the PS5. No additional single-player content is planned at this time, but the future will depend on player reception.
