Heart of Chornobyl will receive a free update with new quests and new areas to explore


Spend Christmas in the Zone

From December 16, you will be able to update STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl to find no less than 8 new quests to complete. These will ask you to investigate some very strange radio interference, which seems to be affecting the stalkers in the western part of the map.

This will take you to visit no less than 7 new locations on the mapas the PlayStation Blog post states:

As a bounty hunter, you will have to explore, loot, and survive. Believe us when we say that the Fairy Tale Pioneer Camp and the Old Mine in the Red Forest are worth a visit. If you’ve ever crossed the Zone from south to north and east to west, you’ll notice that some familiar places are now re-inhabited by stalkers. This story will take you to the Junkyard, Military Warehouses, City Boiler Room, Rail Depot near Malachite, and Volkhov SAM. Your choices may also lead you to unexplored lands. Trust your instincts. »

A new HUB in the Forêt Brûlée is also on the program, while that a new weapon can help you face the threats that await you. This is the GP37V2a modified version of the GP37 rifle, which is equipped with a silencer and a telescopic sight. In short, a whole bunch of reasons to return to the Zone, without having to pay a cent more.
