Fortnite is preparing the arrival of new Batman Beyond and Joker skins, according to a very credible leak

According to several reputable dataminers, including the well-known leaker HYPEX, Fortnite is preparing to integrate two new skins directly inspired by Batman Beyond. These would be alternative and futuristic versions of Batman and the Joker, from the cult animated series broadcast at the end of the 90s.

In this iteration, it’s not Bruce Wayne who dons the Dark Knight costume, but Terry McGinnis, a teenager guided by an aging Bruce to protect Gotham City in a dark, high-tech future. The Joker, for his part, returns in terrifying form in the animated film Return of the Joker, whose skin would also be adapted in Fortnite.

A leak appeared during the Winterfest event

It is on the occasion of the launch of the event Winterfest that this leak saw the light of day. By examining the files from the latest update, some have detected the presence of lines of code and graphic assets related to the two DC characters.

Chapter 7: Season 1, multiplies the crossovers with pop culture. This collaboration could well revive the enthusiasm around the DC universe in the game, at a strategic period.

What release date for these skins?

No official date has been announced yet, but the skins should appear in the item shop from early 2026if we rely on Epic Games’ usual content cycle.

The traditional end-of-year break slows down updates, but a reveal around mid-January remains likely. In the meantime, the detected files confirm that the models are already integrated into the game.
