Fortnite relaunches its Winterfest 2025 festive eventand like every year, it’s the opportunity to fill your inventory without spending a single V-Buck. 14 free gifts, two exclusive skins, new cosmetic items: here’s everything you risk missing if you don’t log in regularly between now and January 5, 2026.
One gift per day until the beginning of January
Epic Games has launched its traditional Winterfest event, during which players can open one free gift per day by connecting to the game. The operation began on December 18, 2025 and will end on January 5, 2026. In total, 14 cosmetic items are to be collected: skins, back accessories, stickers or even festive gliders are on the program.
The good news? You can miss up to three days without permanently losing a gift. Gifts can be opened in any order, as long as you log in enough times before the event ends.
Two exclusive skins to unlock
Two major rewards await diligent players:
- After 7 connections: the “Icy Mannequin” outfit
- After 13 connections: the “Cheeks” outfit, a frosty hamster
Both of these outfits are exclusive to Winterfest 2025 and will likely not be available in stores afterward.
Positive reactions from players, but some regrets
The community generally welcomed the event. On X.com, some emphasize the simplicity and loyalty-building aspect of these daily gifts: “Daily gifts are simple and effective. They encourage people to stay in touch without pressure. Successful loyalty,” said a player under the pseudonym shzhv13.

To open your gifts, go to the main Fortnite lobby, then click on the festive chalet. Inside you can choose and open one gift per day.
