The Void always hides mysteries
In this update 2.5 of Zenless Zone Zerono question for our Proxies to rest since they will have to investigate the appearance of a mysterious zone within the Nether, with giant stones which levitate and which seem to be connected.
We will also explore a dangerous mine, and new monsters will come to block our way, in the form of strange insects. And if you are not up to date on the main quest, you will still be able to directly witness the events of this chapter since the Early View function has been improved and now allows you to skip to this quest.
The banners of version 2.5
The first S-rank character of this update is of course Ye Shunguang, Attack type with a unique attribute: Sharp Blade. She is described as the first dual-form Void Hunter.
In her normal state, she will have very fast attacks, but activating her skill will give her access to another form with white hair, with reinforced attacks and the possibility of applying a vulnerability to the opponent. The goal will therefore be to get her into this state as regularly as possible via different means, including the ultimate attack, which will also inflict heavy damage.
Second S-rank agent of the update, Zhao, who will not come to unleash the symphony of lightning since she is an ice and Defense type. She will need to accumulate Frostbite points to perform a powerful attack while giving the team some bonuses. She can even sacrifice her own HP to grant regeneration to other characters.
As for the Bangbous, a new one will join the gang with Petite Pousse. A sort of miniature Ye Shunguang, he will be able to swing swords and attack quickly, especially when associated with the latter.
As for the banners, know that Ye Shunguang and Zhao will be highlighted from the start of this update until the end of this update. But the best part is that Zhao will be offered from the start of the update, until version 2.7.
However, other banners will be available in parallel from the second half of 2.7, with Alice, Soldier 0- Anby and Astra Yao. These banners will be a little separate, not counted in the standard and limited banners, because you will not be able to lose your 50/50 here, and you will directly obtain the desired agent in the event of an S rank agent draw.
Version 2.5 events
Since this update puts the package on Ye Shunguang, she will be entitled to a dedicated event in which it will be possible to control her. We will travel through a strange kingdom with challenges that will help us advance Ye Shunguang. There will be loads of rewards here, including an A-rank weapon and outfit accessories for the Proxy.
The update will also highlight the “Joint Investigation: Labyrinth of the Gods” mode, which will be a multiplayer event in which everyone will control a character in challenges with unique rules. You will therefore have to coordinate to carry out joint attacks to defeat certain bosses. These are the first steps of the game towards a slightly more social dimension, as evidenced by the upcoming integration of the “Circle of proxies” functionality which will push this even further.
In “Collision of Raging Shadows”, you will have to complete several increasingly difficult combat challenges, including some where you only control Zhao and Ye Shunguang. With the “Angels and Illusions of the Muse” event, you will encounter a new faction to help her across the city. “Wishing Station” will give you an additional connection bonus by throwing bottles into the sea.
Additionally, note that agents will be reworked with this update. They are Burnice, Soldier 11 and Graceall of which will receive improvements, in the same way as Anby and Ellen in the past. Finally, a very ole-ole Jane Doe outfit will also be offered throughout the duration of the update. Ye Shunguang will also have an extra costume, but for a fee.

When will version 2.5 of Zenless Zone Zero be released?
The version 2.5 update of Zenless Zone Zero will be available from December 30. Maintenance will take place early in the morning and you will receive polychromes as compensation.
