This is a turning point fans have long awaited: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade finally arrives on Xbox Series X|S. To mark the event, Square Enix is now offering a free demoalso available on Nintendo Switch 2. “It allows you to discover the very first chapter of the game, namely the mission to sabotage the mako reactor”.
This playable preview is a first for Xbox players, long deprived of this cult redesign. They can now play as Cloud Strife in the iconic opening mission, while discovering the graphical and narrative overhaul designed for a new generation of consoles.
Progress transfer and bonus items included
In addition to discovering the game, the demo offers concrete advantages to players. First, it allows you to keep your progress: “The saved data from this demo can be transferred to the full game once it is available”.
But that’s not all. By simply launching the demo, players will automatically receive two bonus items in the final version: “Launching the demo will allow you to obtain, in the full game, the items “Spirit Loops” and “Survival Set””. A gesture that encourages you to test the game without delay and to keep your first hours of play.
Switch 2 performance: a promising but heavy port
