Enough to ensure the survival of the studio for a little while
20 million, this is the number of copies of Baldur’s Gate 3 which would have been sold since the launch of the game. This is what Bloomberg puts forward in his article focused on divinitywhich will be Larian’s next game. This is therefore 5 million more than at the end of 2025, a sign that the game continues to appeal even with few promotions, which we also owe to exemplary follow-up on the part of the studio.
So, of course, out of these 20 million, we clearly imagine that there are duplicates here with those who own both the digital version and the physical version of the game, the latter having been released a little later (and collectors were not going to miss it). Despite everything, the figure remains quite impressive for an RPG intended more for a PC audience, but which has conquered the whole world. To see if divinity will do better now, and we imagine that the pressure is heavy on Larian’s shoulders on this subject.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is available on PC, Xbox Series and PS5.
