PS Plus: January 2026 releases revealed in advance with big exclusives

Since the redesign of PlayStation Plus in several levels (Essential, Extra, Premium), Sony has operated a regular rotation of its cataloglike Netflix. Generally, a game remains available between 6, 12 or 24 monthsdepending on the agreements made with the publishers. But be careful: certain games, even from the PlayStation Studios catalog, can disappear without warning. This is why monthly vigilance is necessary.

God of War Ragnarok: the departure of a giant?

Added to catalog in January 2025, God of War Ragnarok is undoubtedly the biggest stock in danger this month. Although this is a Sony exclusive, it is not uncommon for these to temporarily disappear from the service (like Spider-ManFor example).

Advice : If you haven’t yet finished the adventures of Kratos and Atreus, perhaps now is the time to dive into it.

Other titles potentially affected

Beyond Ragnarok, several games added one or two years ago could be affected by a withdrawal in January:

Games added in January 2025:

  • Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name
  • Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand
  • Sayonara Wild Hearts
  • ANNO: Mutationem
  • Citizen Sleeper

These games are now one year old in the catalog. Their presence beyond January will mainly depend on the agreements made with their respective publishers.

Games present for two years:

  • Lego City: Undercover
  • Session: Skate Sim
  • Surviving the Aftermath

These titles, available since January 2024, are therefore very close to the critical threshold of 24 monthsafter which games are often removed.

Should we be worried about Cyberpunk 2077?

Although added to PS Plus in July 2025, Cyberpunk 2077 remains under surveillance. There are no signals to suggest an immediate withdrawal, but high-profile games can sometimes experience early withdrawals.

It is therefore preferable to play it while the title remains accessible, especially since its recent updates and its Phantom Liberty DLC have greatly improved the experience.
