Like every start of the month, PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers can download a new batch of PS4 and PS5 games at no additional cost. This December 2025, Sony offers a balanced mix of blockbusters, multiplayer experiences and independent gems.
The full list includes LEGO Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, Trials of Outlast, Synduality: Echo of Ada, and Neon White. All of these titles are already available for download for subscribers.
LEGO Horizon Adventures and Killing Floor 3: the stars of the month
Headlining this month, LEGO Horizon Adventures adapts Aloy’s world into a fun and colorful version, perfect for family play during the holidays. Exclusive to the PS5, it reinvents the post-apocalyptic universe of Horizon Zero Dawn with a touch of humor and classic LEGO mechanics.
At the other end of the spectrum, Killing Floor 3 promises a massive dose of adrenaline. This cooperative FPS is designed for fans of zombies and online carnage. Customizable weapons, infernal hordes, and guaranteed gore atmosphere: ideal for multiplayer sessions with friends.
Indies, co-op and horror: three nice surprises
Sony doesn’t stop at big licenses. Thrill-seekers can try Outlast Trials, a multiplayer cooperative horror spin-off. Playable alone or in a group, it combines survival, infiltration and nocturnal screams in a universe well known to fans of the genre.
Another surprise: Synduality: Echo of Ada, a tactical shooter mixing mechas, futuristic narration and stylized visuals. Less known than the others, it could appeal to players looking for an original universe.
Finally, Neon White closes the selection with its unique proposition: a fast and stylized platform FPS, where each level becomes a race against time. Reflexes and optimization are the key to aiming for the best times.
A busy month before the holidays
This December selection aims broad: solo, coop, action, horror, platform… there is something for all profiles. And for PS5 players, several titles benefit from notable technical improvements. The games will remain available until Monday January 5, 2026 inclusive, before the selection is renewed.
The PS Plus Essential subscription remains one of the most accessible ways to stock your library without breaking the bank, especially at the end of the year loaded with major releases. A good opportunity to (re)discover unexpected licenses before the holidays.
