In the April 2026 falters Netflix is reviving its anime program with some new series. You can find out what you can look forward to in this article.
New anime in April 2026
Next month’s highlights include the second season of “Dorohedoro”which from April 1, 2026 appears weekly. On April 2, 2026 starts the RomCom series »The Ramparts of Ice« and from then on April 11, 2026 the new arc is running »One Piece« in the original sound with German subtitles in simulcast.
In addition, on April 15, 2026 episodes 62 to 77 of »One Piece« will be added to the Netflix catalog, while the anime adaptation of »Dandelion« as well as the second season of »Jujutsu Kaisen« be added. The first season is already available.
All confirmed new additions are listed below. We will expand this list if more titles are announced.
New arrivals in April 2026:
April 1st: “Dorohedoro” – Season 2 (Simulcast)
The second season of “Dorohedoro” will be from the April 1, 2026 on Japanese television and at Netflix shown in simulcast.
Action:
In the dark city of Loch, people fear the magicians who abuse them for cruel experiments. Caiman, a man with a lizard’s head, doesn’t accept his fate: together with Nikaido, he looks for the magician who transformed him. He wants to solve the curse and regain his lost memories.
April 2: “The Ramparts of Ice” (simulcast)
The anime adaptation of »The Ramparts of Ice« is from April 2, 2026 in the original sound with German subtitles Netflix seen in simulcast.
Action:
The shy Higawa Koyuki keeps classmates at a distance and spends most of her school time alone. When Amamiya Minato persistently seeks her closeness, her everyday life begins to falter. Together with the popular Miki and basketball player Youta, four young people get entangled in feelings and complicated relationships.
April 11: “One Piece: Elbaph Arc” (Simulcast)
The simulcast of »One Piece« will be from the April 11, 2026 every Saturday with the “Elbaph” arc in the original Japanese sound with subtitles Netflix continued.
Action:
With Lilith, Kuma, Bonney and the giant pirates, the Straw Hats reach Elbaph. Robin meets Saul again, Luffy meets the captured Prince Loki. Flashbacks reveal Harald and Rocks’ connections as well as the truth about God Valley.
As the world responds to Vegapunk’s message, multiple powers pursue the One Piece – and the God Knights set their sights on Elbaph.
April 15: “One Piece” – Episodes 62 to 77
Episodes 62 to 77 of »One Piece« can from then on April 15, 2026 with a new German language version Netflix be streamed.

Monkey D. Luffy has a big goal: He wants to become King of the Pirates. Together with his infamous Straw Hat gang, he sails across the seas, experiences countless adventures and searches for the legendary treasure One Piece.

»Dandelion« appears during April 2026 including the original Japanese version with German subtitles Netflix.
Action:
Tetsuo Tanba and Misaki Kurogane belong to the 21st Division of the Japanese Angel Federation. Your job is to find restless spirits and guide them sensitively into the afterlife. They take time for the souls’ final wishes.
Although Tanba appears harsh, he shows great compassion, and Kurogane is even said to have pacified Musashi Miyamoto.
