Streaming service ADN (Animation Digital Network) today announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Bilibili, one of China’s leading entertainment and animation platforms. We summarize.
Ten new series
As part of the new agreement, which aims to expand the international distribution of Chinese animation content, two new series from the Bilibili portfolio will appear on ADN every month from April 2026.
Initially, around ten Donghua series with localized subtitles are planned to be released for all three ADN markets – France, Germany and Poland. An extension of the deal is possible depending on the audience response.
ADN already has four titles from Bilibili in its program: “The All-devouring Whale”, “The Girl Downstairs”, “The New Chronicles of Extraordinary Beings: Preface” and the simulcast of “B King”, which was launched a few days ago.
In parallel to the distribution agreement, the two companies also began discussions about future productions, laying the foundation for possible collaboration on upcoming animation projects.
