A new map to discover
This second beta of Spellcasters Chronicles therefore opens today and will be available until February 2 at 10 a.m.. It aims to show all the changes that have been made since the first beta, Quantic Dream specifying that it has taken into account numerous feedback, as Gregorie Diaconu, director of the project, explains:
“ The second closed beta marks an important new chapter for Spellcasters Chronicles. Opening the first portal to Ashkenon taught us a lot, not only about our systems, but also about how players move, experience, and express themselves in the game. This second beta allows us to take the lessons learned from the first and bring them back into the experience, boosting performance, refining gameplay, and expanding the magical chaos with new spells, summons, and the Northern Shores of Valm. We’re excited to invite players back and continue to shape this journey together as we move closer to Early Access. »
Among the expected new features, that of a better presentation of the game for newcomers with a new tutorial. We also find the presence of a text chat to better communicate, and a system to report toxic players. New options for lifestones are also added, and the first version of the ranking system is here. 6 new spells are integrated, as well as three invocations. Everything can be tested in a new arena, “The Nordic Shores of Valm”.

When will Spellcasters Chronicles be released?
Spellcasters Chronicles will first go through the early access box, starting February 26 on PC. We will find much more than in the beta, with new spells and additional invocations.
