Surprise, Minecraft Dungeons II is made official by Mojang Studios with a release planned for this year

At least it’s square

Minecraft Live also reported on the release on March 24 of a new update for Minecraft “Tiny Takeover” with new versions of baby creatures in particular, but also on the holding of IRL events in the four corners of the globe. One of the key announcements was also that of the opening in 2027 of a theme park dedicated to Minecraft, in Chessington, United Kingdombefore his return to cinemas in July 2027.

But let’s get back to our point. The flagship announcement of this direct was therefore that of Minecraft Dungeons II, a brand new action-RPG adventure with new challenges, new issues but also new locations never before visited in the spin-off. Scenario-wise, it’s still quite vague but we will have to count on the support of our allies to once again save the world in crisis.

Minecraft Dungeons II will therefore be released later this year on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 as well as on Xbox PC, Cloud Gaming and Xbox Series X/S. From its launch, it will be included in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. You can already add it to your wishlist on Steam in particular.
