Sucker Punch (Ghost of Yotei) changes CEO, Brian Fleming leaves after almost thirty years with the studio

Passing the torch to the new generation

Just before the transition to the year 2026, Sucker Punch is preparing to close a major chapter with the departure of Brian Fleming, one of the co-founders of the studio to whom we owe the series Sly Cooper, Infamous Or Ghost of. A departure prepared for a long time if we are to believe the article published by PlayStation today, which reveals that Fleming worked all year to ensure his succession in the most peaceful way possible.

He will be replaced quite quickly, from January 1, by not one, but two people, namely Jason Connell and Adrian Bentley. The first was notably the creative co-director of Ghost of Tsushima and its sequel (and who will be replaced in this position by Nate Fox), while the second is known for his work as technical director. PlayStation states:

Brian’s vision and leadership have shaped the studio’s culture of creativity and collaboration and laid a strong foundation on which Jason, Adrian and the entire team will build upon as they build the future. Sucker Punch has been part of the PlayStation family since 2000 and continually brings unforgettable worlds and endearing characters to gamers around the world. From the mischievous charm of Sly Cooper to the bold, cinematic storytelling of “Ghost,” the studio’s commitment to innovation and quality continues to set the standard for the PlayStation experience. Under the leadership of Jason and Adrian, Sucker Punch remains committed to creating new adventures that will capture the imagination of gamers everywhere. »

Quite a change that indicates a new era for the studio, with younger co-CEOs. It remains to be seen what direction Sucker Punch will take in the future.
