No French translation in sight at the moment
STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT will therefore be released in the West, even if that means that the game will be a little delayed. Initially planned for this year 2025, the visual novel takes more time than expected and has thus been pushed back to 2026even in Japan. We were able to discover new images of the game at the beginning of the week, before Spike Chunsoft revealed to us the release of an international version for the game.
STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT will therefore arrive next year on PC via Steam in a version translated into English. Because yes, still no French translation on the program, which was unfortunately expected for such a chatty game, even despite the popularity of the license. Who knows, one day…
This new version of the game will feature completely reworked backgrounds as well as improved character portraits, with much more detail. We will even find additional places which will be the scene of new stories, with events better integrated into the common thread of the story. See you next year to find out all about it.
