The free TV broadcaster ProSieben MAXX announced today that it has secured the license for the first season of “The Diaries of the Pharmacist” and will broadcast it as a German TV premiere next month. We summarize.

The first season of “The Pharmacist’s Diaries” can be seen on ProSieben MAXX every Friday evening from 10:00 p.m. from May 22nd, 2026 with three episodes in a row. The individual episodes are then available free of charge on Joyn.
The TOHO animation and OLM studios were responsible for the production of the 24 episodes, with Akinori Fudesaka (“Pokémon Evolutions”) directing and Norihiro Naganuma (“Ancient Magus’ Bride”) serving as chief director.
The anime adaptation of Natsu Hyuuga’s light novel series of the same name has so far included two seasons, which are available on Crunchyroll with German and Japanese dubbing. A third season and a film are already in the works.
