A new teaser for the upcoming series was published today on the X account of the anime adaptation of “The World’s Strongest Witch” (Japanese: “Sekai Saikyou no Majo, Hajimemashita”). You can find the video below.
Starting in October 2026
»The World’s Strongest Witch« is directed by Jouji Furuta (“Bad Girl”) at the Bridge and Aisle studios. Shouji Yonemura (“Futsal Boys!!!!!”) is writing the script, while Yuuki Morimoto is contributing the character design.
The main roles of the Japanese voice cast include Azusa Tachibana (Kaya Satou in “Kaya-chan Isn’t Scary”) as Rona Hermit and Fairouz Ai (Power in “Chainsaw Man”) as Erimina. The fantasy series is scheduled to start in October 2026.
The original light novel of the same name by Mochimaru Sakaki has been published in Japan since December 2022 with illustrations by riritto. A manga adaptation by Tamaki Toga debuted in Kodansha’s “Getsumaga Kichi” magazine in May 2023.
