The Nintendo Switch 2 continues to enrich its catalog with Reanimala 2.5D horror game as intriguing as it is nightmarish. Developed by Tarsier Studiosthe studio behind the cult saga Little Nightmaresthe title already announces itself as a horrific event of 2026. Revealed at Gamescom 2024, Reanimal is distinguished by a dark aesthetic, a fragmented narrative and an atmosphere as oppressive as it is fascinating.
An atmosphere worthy of Little Nightmares
In Reanimal, we embody two orphans left to their own devices in a hostile universe where every corner can hide danger. The visual style is strongly reminiscent Little Nightmareswith an artistic direction halfway between waking nightmare and visual poetry. “In this disturbing tale, the focus is on tension and heavy atmosphere, as you accompany the two orphans on a desperate quest for hope and redemption in the most desperate of circumstances,” reads the official synopsis for the game.

THQ Nordicthe game’s publisher, announced via its social networks that the Reanimal playable demo is now available for download on the Nintendo Switch 2. This initiative allows fans to experience the unique atmosphere of the game before its release. Also available recently on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/Sthe demo has already been praised for its mastery of rhythm, its staging and the quality of its sound design.
