The Japanese company Aoshima recently introduced a new figure for the “Godzilla” franchise. We summarize all the details for you.
Release in June 2026
The new Godzilla figure from Aoshima’s “PLAfig.” series was designed by sculptor RYO Nendoseizin and is approximately 13 centimeters tall. Polystyrene is used for production. You can see the first pictures at the bottom of the article.
The standard release is scheduled for June 2026 at a price of 7,700 yen (around 42 euros). Pre-orders are expected to be available soon from participating retailers, although the actual retail price may vary.
The last Japanese film from the “Godzilla” franchise is titled “Godzilla Minus One” and was released in this country by peppermint anime on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray. A new spin-off will start in Japanese cinemas in November 2026.
