Netflix today released a new trailer for the upcoming third season of the new anime adaptation of “Ranma 1/2”. You can find the video below.
Starting in October 2026
The third season of “Ranma 1/2” is once again being produced under the direction of director Kounosuke Uda (“Spicy Girl”) at Studio MAPPA. Kimiko Ueno (“Delicious in Dungeon”) is writing the script and Hiromi Taniguchi is creating the character design.
The main roles of the Japanese cast again include Kappei Yamaguchi (Kaito Kuroba in “Detective Conan”) as the male Ranma and Megumi Hayashibara (Anna Kyouyama in “Shaman King”) as the female Ranma. It is scheduled to launch in October 2026 on both Japanese television and Netflix.
The streaming service already has the first two seasons, which consist of 24 episodes and were broadcast between October 2024 and December 2025, with German and Japanese language versions in its program.
