A first trailer for the upcoming series was published today on the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Red River” (Japanese: “Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori”). You can watch the video below.

“Red River” is directed by Kousuke Kobayashi (“Idol Time Pripara”) at the Tatsunoko Production studio. Yoriko Tomita (“My Dress-Up Darling”) is writing the script, while Kenji Fujisaki is doing the character design.
The opening song entitled “Akatsuki no Sora”, which can be heard in the trailer, is contributed by the Japanese voice actress Hiroki Nanami (“Opening song from “Helck”). The launch is scheduled for July 7, 2026.
The underlying manga series written by Chie Shinohara was published in Japan from January 1995 to June 2002 in a total of 28 volumes. In this country the work was published in German by Egmont Manga under the title “Anatolia Story”.
