With the opening of an official website today it was announced that the manga series “The Fake Alchemist” (Japanese: “Nisemono no Renkinjutsushi”) will soon receive an anime adaptation. You can find a first visual below.
Start next year
All that is known so far is that the anime adaptation is a series that is being created by Studio Passione and will start on Japanese television over the course of next year. Further details, such as who will be involved in the production, are still pending. We’ll keep you updated.
The original manga series of the same name was written by Jirou Sugiura and has been published in the “Isekai Comic” magazine since June 2023 with drawings by Umemaru. The publishing house KADOKAWA has brought five volumes onto the market so far.
The fantasy work is published in English by Yen Press. A German translation is not yet available. If this changes, you will find out at Manga2You.
