A giant Poké Ball with more than 2,300 pieces that opens to reveal Professor Chen’s lab: the set LEGO Pokémon 72154 has just leaked images, and the community is already going wild on Reddit. Spotted on r/Legoleak under the name “Iconic Trainer Moments: Poké Ball”, this 18+ model has still not been made official by LEGO. Given the visuals, however, we have one of the most anticipated LEGO Pokémon projects of the 2026 wave.
According to Notebookcheck, the box has a price of 299.99 dollars, or around 280 euros, for a total of 2,343 pieces. The release would now be targeted for October 1, 2026, after a postponement linked to production problems. The first rumors spoke of August 1st for this set LEGO Pokémon 18+.

The photos shared on Reddit show an oversized Poké Ball that separates into two half-spheres. The upper part houses the laboratory of Professor Chendirect reference to the first minutes of the games Pokémon Red And Blue. Below, a grassy setting serves as ground for a Pikachu and a Eevee molded, ready to be captured or sent into battle. Once closed, the sphere forms a discreet decorative object, designed to sit on a shelf.
On a technical level, the figures have evolved over the weeks. Leaks initially suggested around 2,339 pieces for $259.99, before the photographed packaging jumped to 2,343 pieces. Some box images even mention 2,386 elements, a sign that LEGO refined the construction quite late. This kind of gap remains classic before an official announcement and does not call into question the scale of the model.
