A selection that can question
You are probably aware that you can vote in each category of the Game Awards, but in most cases, the public vote is not the only one that is decisive, since the jury also votes on its side. Except in the case of the “Player’s Voice” categorywhich is solely decided by the public. After two rounds of voting, 5 games have been nominated and are now in the running for this award, namely :
If no one will ask why Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33 And Hollow Knight Silksong are present, others will be able to question. Dispatch initially had the fervent support of the public to the extent that the game was generally snubbed in the other categories. The press, however, did not shy away from the game and had nothing but praise for it, but the voting process to determine the candidates in each category at the Game Awards ended while the narrative game had not yet released all its episodes, which explains why it was not very highlighted.
It is therefore a revenge for the game of AdHoc, while for Genshin Impact And Wuthering Waveshistory repeats itself. Gachas can very easily mobilize a large community, which hopes to see their favorite game win so that the studios can be generous by offering in-game rewards (even though the latter have not promised anything).
