As St. Patrick’s Day approaches, GTA Online is celebrating the event with a series of free rewards available now. An initiative from Rockstar Games which aims to maintain players’ interest while awaiting the highly anticipated release of GTA VI.
But contrary to what some titles may suggest, this is not a free download of GTA 5. These are indeed exclusive contents to be recovered in GTA Online, provided you log in on time.
GTA Online and St. Patrick’s Day, free rewards to collect
The current event offers several free cosmetic items. The easiest to obtain remains the Blarney’s Stout t-shirt, accessible simply by launching the game before March 25, 2026. Players on PS5, Xbox Series or PC can also collect a festive Blarney’s Beer hat, again with no special conditions other than logging in during the event period. These rewards are designed to be accessible quickly, without any particular effort, in order to encourage as many players as possible to participate.
Clovers and rare items, how to unlock the best rewards
For those who want to go further, Rockstar offers a system of collectibles scattered throughout the open world. Clover-shaped balloons are hidden in GTA Online. By finding all 25 items, players unlock a special green outfit. An additional reward is provided for those who also discover the much rarer golden clover. This system encourages exploration and extends the interest of the event beyond the immediate rewards.
Weekly challenges and community content not to be missed
At the same time, a series of weekly challenges allows you to obtain other items. Players must perform certain specific actions:
- win three races
- win fights to the death
- repeat these goals over several weeks
These challenges allow you to unlock additional items such as clothing or vehicle customizations. This content is part of the “Community Collection”, a system that values active player participation.
A limited duration which requires not delay
All of these rewards are only available for a limited period. The main St. Patrick’s Day event ends on March 25, 2026, while some challenges remain accessible until April 1, 2026. After this time, items will no longer be available, which reinforces the interest in logging in quickly so as not to miss anything.
