Fallout season 2: the series breaks a new record on Rotten Tomatoes

After surprising everyone in 2024, the series Falloutinspired by the famous post-apocalyptic franchise of Bethesdareturns for a second season. As soon as it was released, it won over critics. “Fallout Season 2, streaming on Prime Video, received its reviews today, and they are mostly positive.”

The offbeat universe, mixing dark humor and radioactive survival, continues to convince. Supported by a solid cast and ambitious production, this new season confirms the success of the adaptation despite the famous “curse of video game adaptations”. The first feedback is unanimous: Fallout holds up.

An impressive Rotten Tomatoes score from the first days

Season 2 did better than the first on Rotten Tomatoesthe reference site for film and series reviews. “On Rotten Tomatoes, Fallout Season 2 has a score of 97%. With 39 reviews, it is now certified ‘Fresh’.”

The first season, although very well received upon its release, reached “the excellent score of 93% with more than 133 reviews”. This jump of 4 points confirms not only the consistency of the series, but also the improvement in its narration and its rhythm. Spectators also welcome the development of the main characters.

An intrigue that extends to New Vegas

In this new season, we find the protagonists Lucy, the Ghoul And Maximus facing new challenges. “Fallout Season 2 continues the story of Lucy, the Ghoul, and Maximus, as the world expands to New Vegas.”

This geographical extension will delight fans of the video game license, for whom New Vegas is an emblematic place. The story, darker and dense, also further explores the tensions between factions, while increasing the number of references to the original games.

A season 3 already confirmed and dated

With its rave reviews and excellent audiences, Fallout has already gotten the green light for a third season. The latter is officially in preparation. “Filming is scheduled for summer 2026.”

This is a rarity in the field of video game adaptations: not only is the series extended, but it manages to improve from one season to the next. Prime Video thus manages to retain fans of the universe while attracting a new audience fond of science fiction and dystopias.
