Everything continues to go like a dream for the team at Sandfall Interactive. And if the sense of timing has always accompanied him since the release of Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33what could be better than handing over a GOTY to signal that the free update, called “Thank You”, is available for download on all platforms. On the menu, a whole new level with its share of joys.
“Verso’s Drafts”, which could be translated into “Verso’s Sketches”, is the name of the entirely new area to discover. Particularly colorful and light, supposed to symbolize Verso’s childhood, this environment will also benefit from new music. But be careful, the atmosphere will not necessarily be solely dedicated to relaxation.
Because in addition to the new costumes, haircuts and weapons which will visually remain in the theme of this colorful level, there will also be new bosses to hit near the Eternal Tower. Obviously, a challenge awaits you with the reward of new Pictos, costumes and other equipment.
Another particularly requested new feature, a Photo Mode is finally making its appearance, and it seems quite advanced, including 33 filters (well yes, obviously), great freedom of camera movement, and all the elements that one must find in such a functionality.
Finally, quite a few quality of life additions will relieve many, since we can now use filters to find our Lumina more easily, and even keep favorite Lumina combinations, instead of unequipping and reequipping everything as has been the case until now. Add to this the possibility of abandoning a fight, useful when you are off to a bad start, which also feels good.
