Date of the second “The Beginning After The End” season + trailer


The official X account for the anime adaptation of “The Beginning After the End” announced today that the second season will air on Japanese television from April 1, 2026. There is a new trailer below.

The second season of “The Beginning After the End” is once again being created under the direction of director Keitarou Motonaga (“The Kingdoms of Ruin”) in the animation studio A-CAT. Takamitsu Kouno (“The 100 Girlfriends”) is writing the script, while Masami Sueoka (“The Strongest Magician”) is doing the character design.

The opening song that can be heard in the trailer is titled “Sayonara Janai Ho ga Ii” and comes from the band SIX LOUNGE (ending song of the sixth “My Hero Academia” season). Crunchyroll is showing the sequel in simulcast.

The twelve-part first season of “The Beginning After the End” ran in Japan between April and June 2025 and is already available on demand in its entirety in the original Japanese dub with German subtitles.
