Just a few days ago we informed you about the planned date of the first “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” film on Crunchyroll. However, the streaming service has now changed this. We summarize.

From July 28, 2026

The first part of the “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” trilogy will therefore not only be available on July 29, 2026, but from July 28, 2026 at 5:00 p.m., including German and Japanese language versions.

The new date corresponds exactly to July 29, 2026 at midnight Japan time. At this point, sales of the DVD and Blu-ray editions as well as the streaming release will begin in Japan.

The approximately 155-minute long film was made in the ufotable studio and directed by Haruo Sotozaki (“Tales of Zestiria the X”). The evening filler celebrated its premiere in Japanese cinemas on July 18, 2025.

The previous series can already be streamed in full on Crunchyroll, Netflix, RTL+ and aniverse. A disc release was carried out by peppermint anime. The first season will be released in August 2026 in a steelbook edition.
