In a few months, Crunchyroll will begin publishing the limited steelbook edition of the anime classic “Sailor Moon”. In keeping with this, the publisher has now revealed the designs of all five season boxes. You can find the first pictures below.
Release from October 2026
According to current plans, the steelbook complete edition of the first season will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on October 2, 2026. A few weeks later, on November 6, 2026, the second season is scheduled to hit stores in Germany.
The third season is also scheduled to be released on November 6, 2026, followed by the fourth season on December 4, 2026. The conclusion is the fifth and final season, which is scheduled for January 17, 2027.
Each season box includes the episodes of the respective season in German and Japanese as well as an art card and the associated clean openings and endings. The second box also contains special episode 89 in the original sound with subtitles, while the fifth box also offers three bonus songs.
Crunchyroll previously brought the 200-episode anime series onto the market in five regular volumes. The streaming service ADN has all seasons in German and Japanese language versions.

The clumsy 14-year-old Bunny Tsukino constantly oversleeps, is chaotic and not very successful at school. When she meets the talking cat Luna, she learns that as Sailor Moon she is supposed to protect the universe from a dark force.
Together with other warriors, she sets out to find the mysterious Moon Princess and face evil.
