A first teaser for the second season was published today on the X account of “The Ramparts of Ice” (Japanese: “Koori no Jouheki”). The video is below.
Starting in October 2026
The second season of “The Ramparts of Ice” is being created under the direction of Mankyuu (“The Ice Guy”) at Studio KAI. Yasuhiro Nakanishi (“A Star Brighter than the Sun”) is writing the script, while Miki Ogino is contributing character design.
The main roles of the Japanese voice cast again include Anna Nagase (Kyouko Himekawa in “Marriagetoxin”) as Koyuki Hikawa and Shouya Chiba (Kiyotaka Ayanokouji in “Classroom of the Elite”) as Minato Amamiya.
The new episodes will appear weekly on Netflix from October 1, 2026. The 13-part first season, which ran in simulcast from April to July 2026, can already be found in German and Japanese in the streaming service’s program.
