Borderlands 4: a new SHiFT code offered to players, not to be missed



Gearbox continues to reward loyal Borderlands 4 players with weekly SHiFT codes. This week is a new temporary code which offers three golden keys to be used in the game’s famous chest. These keys allow you to obtain rare loot, always adapted to the player’s level, ideal for boosting your equipment or preparing for a new run.

Published on Xbox Live by Randy Pitchfordpresident of Gearbox, this code is valid until December 2, 2025 only. Once expired, it is impossible to recover it: you must therefore remember to activate it in time to add it to your account.

These keys allow you to open the Golden Chest in Borderlands 4, which contains legendary quality weapons and equipment. Unlike the code, the keys obtained do not expire : you can store them and use them later, during a game in chaos mode or for a new character.

This type of loot is valuable for custom builds and particularly useful on high difficulties or in advanced co-op.

How to redeem a SHiFT code in a few steps

For new players or those who have never done it before, here is the simple procedure to follow:

  1. Go to the official SHiFT website (shift.gearboxsoftware.com)
  2. Log in to your SHiFT account, or create one for free
  3. Verify that your account is correct linked to your gaming platform (PlayStation, Xbox, PCā€¦)
  4. Go to the ā€œRewardsā€ tab, then paste the code into the ā€œRedemption Codeā€ section
  5. Select your platform and validate

The reward is then automatically added to your in-game inventory.

Why these golden keys are strategic to recover

Even if you have completed the main story of Borderlands 4, these keys remain extremely useful. The legendary items obtained are linked to your level, making it a perfect option for a new runa character change or adjustment of a build at the end of the game.

Especially since Gearbox has just confirmed the upcoming arrival of the Fifth Bounty Pack and a new Vault Hunter early 2026. In other words, it is better to keep these keys carefully aside so as not to start from scratch with the next expansion.
