Arcane Fortnite skins: Jinx and Vi are making a return and they may be free

For Fortnite fans, November 29, 2025 is a date to mark with a purple stone. After 1,393 days of waiting, the Jinx and Vi skins, emblematic heroes of the Arcane series, are returning to the Epic Games Battle Royale store. An announcement that made the networks shudder, confirmed with great fanfare via an Instagram post co-signed by Fortnite and Arcane, the animated series based on League of Legends.

Initially offered in November 2021 as part of an exclusive partnership with Netflix, these skins had not reappeared since their withdrawal in February 2022. Their rarity ended up elevating them to the rank of cult objects in the community. And this Friday evening, what was just a rumor a few days ago finally becomes reality.

Skins, music, LEGO: a reissue that does nothing by halves

Beyond the simple visual feedback, Epic Games has taken care of the details. When they re-enter the store, the music “Enemy”, the iconic Arcane theme by Imagine Dragons, will be broadcast in the game lobby. This will immediately immerse players in the dark and electric atmosphere of Piltover and Zaun.

But the real novelty is the unprecedented integration of these two characters in LEGO Fortnite. When they were initially launched, this version was not yet available. Today, fans will be able to play as Jinx and Vi in a LEGO version, to vary the pleasures between Battle Royale and creative modes.

Price-wise, no surprises: as when they first appeared, the skins should be offered at 1,500 V-Bucks each. It remains to be seen how long they will remain available in the store: no deadline has been specified by Epic Games.

Should we see this as a clue to Arcane season 2?

If the re-release of these skins is first and foremost a gesture towards Fortnite fans, it could also foreshadow something else. Because for several months, rumors have been circulating around a new series in the Arcane universe, developed by the same teams. The co-announcement with the official account of the series on Instagram is intriguing. Is this just a nostalgic nod, or the start of a new Netflix teaser?

For now, Epic Games is refraining from any comments. But the fans are already on the lookout. The return of Vi and Jinx could well mark the start of a new phase of collaboration between Fortnite, Riot Games and Netflix. Until then, those who missed the appointment in 2021 finally have a chance to complete their collection.
