The basics of gameplay presented by the studio
IO Interactive gives some news about 007 First Light by first giving the floor to Andreas Krogh (gameplay director) and Thomas Pulluello (senior level designer), who together return to the gameplay of this new game. Few new images here given that the duo comments on the reactions of the public during the first gameplay presentation of the title. But this is the opportunity to once again present the different pillars of this 007: First Light.
The first, called “Spycraft”, will be your ability to observe your environment carefully while remaining discreet, like a good secret agent. The second, “Instinct”, will be based on your ability to adapt, especially when you are exposed. We’re talking about bluffing here, to take advantage of Bond’s English charm. Then come the “Gadgets”, which, as you will have understood, are the tools offered by Q to offer you more choices, whether in the middle of combat or during your infiltration. And precisely, the fourth pillar is none other than the “Combats”, which again rely on the environments, more than on brute force (even if that also works quite well, it must be admitted).
007 First Light will be available from March 27, 2026 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2.
