Borderlands 4: new SHiFT codes to collect before the end of the year



Borderlands 4 players can now collect exclusive cosmetics and golden keys for free, thanks to the new burst of SHiFT codes offered by Gearbox. A time-limited operation which is part of the “12 Days of Mercenaries” festive event.

What new SHiFT codes are available?

Gearbox has revealed four new SHiFT codes as part of day nine of the 12 Days of Mercenaries event. Here is the full list of rewards not to be missed:

  • 3HX3J-RJWSJ-CFBBC-3BJ3B-RWZ36 : Winter skin “A Winter Borderland” – Expires December 31, 2030
  • BZ6J3-3JKHB-CX3B5-TTJTT-HJBZW : Cosmetics “The World on His Shoulders” – Expires December 31, 2030
  • TSXBB-W9JH3-W63JC-TT33B-95JSX : 2 golden keys – Expires December 31, 2025
  • 3H6JT-3ZJZ3-KXBJK-TB3TB-J33CX : 1 golden key – Expires December 31, 2025

These items can be used by all Vault Hunters in the game, regardless of their play style.

How to activate a SHiFT code for Borderlands 4?

If you’ve never used a SHiFT code, here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to the official website shift.gearboxsoftware.com and log in to your SHiFT account (or create one).
  2. Link your game accounts (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, etc.).
  3. Click on “Rewards”.
  4. Enter the code in the section “Code Redemption”.
  5. Choose your platform, validate… and enjoy!

Cosmetics and Golden Keys do not fade once unlocked, even if you don’t use them immediately.

Why are these codes timely for Borderlands 4?

Borderlands 4 attendance has been declining since its launch in September. With these codes and the arrival of the first “C4SH” DLC in early 2026, Gearbox hopes to bring players back. “Although I’m not currently playing Borderlands 4, the quests are so quick to complete that I’ve gotten into the habit of doing them anyway,” says one fan on Game Rant. “I will return to the game one day.”

This loyalty strategy seems to be working. SHiFT codes allow developers to add value at no cost to the player, while maintaining some hype around the game.

Pay attention to expiration dates!

Both cosmetic codes are valid until December 31, 2030which leaves plenty of time to activate them. On the other hand, both golden key codes expire on December 31, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. After this period, they will be unusable.

👉 Don’t waste time: enter codes, even if you don’t play immediately. Golden Keys often offer rare legendary loot that can make all the difference, especially in future PvE or raid content.
