A bit like an advent calendar, the Winterfest allows you to collect a new reward every day, offered by Lieutenant Frimas. To access it, locate the snowflake symbol in the game’s main menu then open one of the gifts that will come to you on either side of the chalet scene. The Winter Festival will be held from December 18 until January 5 at 3 p.m.
A ton of rewards
On the program, picks, back accessories (Winter Festival Ribbon or Festive Penguin), picks (Wrapped Pickaxe or Festive Bat), but also coverings and other music, without forgetting the two skins available: Ice Cream Mannequin from the 7th gift opened and Grahamster as the very last gift (the 14th). Between these two imposed gifts, the order will be free and a new gift will be available at 3 p.m. every day. You will also be able to discover variations in store for your Sabrina Carpenter and Hatsune Miku outfits as Santa ‘Brina and Snow Miku.
New features in the game
The arrival of the Winterfest has caused changes to the map, which you can discover below is snowy across the entire north. Several localities were affected by this snowstorm and the north of the map welcomes a new locality, Warm Chaletwhere there is a real collection of snow-covered and decorated wooden chalets.
There you will also find the new boss of update v39.11 namely Winter Soldier. If you kill him you will get his Snowball launcher (Rare) as well as its medallion allowing you better endurance and improved running.
New gadgets are also appearing, such as blizzard grenades while two fault anomalies additional ones arrive, like the Winter bubblealready active and which allows you to hide and heal yourself within a protective bubble, while the “Return to the Origins” chests should arrive soon with weapons from the OG seasons.
New quests are also available, you will find our guide to succeeding in them all. They will unlock regularly until the end of the event in four distinct phases. This Winter Festival will see numerous collaborations appear, such as the continuation of that with Back to the Future and the legendary Dolorean, but also collaborations with SpongeBob or even Harry Potter, whose universe decorates the Christmas Cabin. Outfits and accessories linked to the Warner Bros license will also be on sale throughout the event with customization on the program, particularly on the choice of house.
