After Yakuza, Toshihiro Nagoshi unveils his new very similar project, Gang of Dragon

Ma Dong-seok is already hitting the screen

Toshihiro Nagoshi finally left SEGA to remake Yakuzaand it’s not the fans of the series who are going to complain about that. Gang of Dragon seems to take up all the elements of the RGG Studio saga, taking us on a tour of the Kabukicho district in Tokyo, to stick two or three mandals to the Japanese underworld. Or two-three bullets, since what differs here is that our protagonist will not be afraid to trade his fists for real bladed weapons or firearms.

We see that the tone is a little less shifted than the Yakuza here (at least in this first video), and we really want to take the character seriously because he is so imposing. It must be said that the actor Ma Dong-seok (Last train to Busan, The Eternals) lends his features to the protagonist, which helps with this, and his imposing physique will aim to show us the power of the character. Our hero here will be called Shin Ji-seong and will be a member of a crime syndicate based in Kabukicho. His life will be turned upside down when conflicts break out in this area.

No release date yet for this Gang of Dragonwhich has only confirmed a PC version at the moment.
