A faster Mega Lucario
Even if we expected a Mega-evolution for a Pokémon that does not yet have one, it will ultimately be a double ration for Lucario who has a brand new transformation. According to the Pokémon Company, Mega Lucario Z is distinguished by a body surrounded by an energetic aura, which improves its defense, flexibility and agility. He can concentrate this energy in certain parts of his body such as his fists, legs, or shape it into a shield for defensive effects.
In terms of gameplay, this new mechanism offers advantages but also constraints. Attacks in this “Z” form execute more quickly, but the Mega Evolution gauge empties much faster. This makes them ideal for finishing a fight quickly, but makes them less suitable for long fights. For those who like online confrontations, this paradigm shift could well shake up strategies. We imagine that other popular Pokémon will benefit from this Mega-evolution Z in the DLC even if we will have to wait a few more days to be sure.
