Call of Duty Black Ops 7 is not unanimous. Despite the hopes placed in this new opus, Activision faces a more lukewarm reception than expected. The comparison with Battlefield 6 didn’t help matters. However, far from giving up, the publisher is responding by activating a massive promotional campaign to regain the favor of its community. And the message is clear: players will be rewarded, whether they are veterans or newcomers.
A season 1 announced as historic
It all starts on December 4, the official launch date of the first season of Black Ops 7. The publisher is already presenting it as “the biggest season 1 in the history of Black Ops”. This content promises to be rich, and marks an attempt to restore momentum to the franchise. New maps, in-game events and surprises are to be expected, but that’s not all.
At the same time, Activision is offering exclusive content now. Among the notable bonuses, “The Replacer” skin will be made available free of charge to all players. No action is required to obtain it: you just need to be connected to the game on time.
Streaming Drops: How to Get All the Goodies
In addition to classic free content, a special operation is underway via the Twitch and YouTube platforms. This is “Drops”, a reward system that awards in-game items based on time spent watching Black Ops 7 streams. Four levels are offered:
- 1 hour viewing: To Battle!
- 2 hours of viewing: Black Ops Swirl
- 3 hours of viewing: Armed to the 7th
- 4 hours of viewing: Calculated
To participate, players simply need to link their Activision account to their platform of choice, then watch a stream with “Drops Enabled” in the title. Unlocked items will automatically appear in the inventory after validation.
Deadline: everything must be collected before December 1st
The countdown is on. All content mentioned in this operation will no longer be available after December 1, 2025 at 8:59 a.m. (French time). Once this limit is reached, the rewards will be permanently lost.
