You will not need to purchase Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza Kiwami 2And Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut at full price on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series if you already own these titles on the previous generation of consoles. This is what SEGA is specifying today by implementing upgrades for these titles, which will be active from December 8. But hang in there, because nothing is simple here.
Let’s start first with Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut. If you own the game on PC, PS4 or Xbox One, you can upgrade to have the latest improvements on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, by spending €14.99 (if you purchased the game on the previous generation before December 8).
Regarding Yakuza Kiwami first of the name, owners of the PS4 and Xbox One version will be able to upgrade to the PS5 and Xbox Series versions for only €1.99. As for Yakuza Kiwami 2the upgrade will be free here. On the other hand, for these two Kiwaminothing is yet stated regarding the upgrade on Steam. Also note that this upgrade is not offered for versions of games available in PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass type subscriptions.
