Xbox offers 6 free games to try, even without Game Pass

This weekend, Microsoft is relaunching its Free Play Days on Xbox with a selection of six titles to discover, including three accessible without a Game Pass subscription. A limited-time offer that allows you to test full games until Sunday evening, directly via the Xbox and Microsoft digital stores. And the good news is that the progress is retained if you purchase the game later.

Among the games accessible to everyone, even without Game Pass, we find Nowhere Prophet, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 and For the King 2. Xbox Game Pass subscribers also benefit from Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game and Wildgate.

Three free games without Game Pass: a weekend to test without constraints

It is on the side of titles without Game Pass that the offer is the most open – and the most varied. Nowhere Prophet offers an atypical desert universe, with a deck-building mechanic: “Nowhere Prophet has attracted mixed opinions, but its unique graphic style and desert universe allow this deck-building roguelite to stand out.”

For fans of frenetic action, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 takes up the world of the cult manga with formidable efficiency: “One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, for its part, received a much more unanimous reception, brilliantly taking up the action-adventure formula of the previous opuses.”

Finally, For the King 2 is an intriguing outsider. This strategic role-playing game, playable by up to four people, is inspired by board games and chance: “For the King 2 undoubtedly offers the most original experience in the series, offering a captivating variation on the theme of chance in tabletop role-playing games.”

And for Game Pass subscribers, three immersive and atypical experiences

Game Pass players are not left out. The first game in this selection allows them to experience the daily life of a police officer: “Police Simulator: Patrol Officers is what it claims to be, a simulation of the daily life of law enforcement.”

Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game takes players on an off-road adventure where each mission requires thought and preparation: “Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game offers an off-road adventure, with discreet missions and camping mechanics not found in classic rally games.”

Finally, Wildgate takes off – heading into space – with an intense multiplayer mode mixing PvP and PvE: “Wildgate takes you into space with ship-to-ship combat in a PvPvE multiplayer format.”

Don’t delay: free access ends Sunday evening

All six games are available for free until Sunday November 23via the Xbox and Microsoft stores. To take full advantage of it, it’s best not to wait until the last minute. Especially since if one of the titles appeals to you, your save will automatically be kept if you decide to purchase it later. A good opportunity to test without risk – and perhaps to discover a future favorite.
